There are several ways you can do if you want to make energy savings and the preservation of keeping your laptop computer, this way you can learn and execute to do saving energy tips as below:

• If you do not use the laptop computer for a long time e.g. a few hours, then turn off the laptop computer properly

• Although your laptop computer is not turned off perfectly, you can still save energy after the laptop computer is not used in few hours by setting the laptop computer on the power management functions of your computer such as CPU and monitor in the model sleep situation. First you set the monitor to standby model and then turn off the laptop computer as a whole

•Expand the memory capacity of your RAM computer to reduce hard disk usage, which will increase the computer power.

• If you have a desktop computer, then you should upgrade to the LCD flat panel screen from a CRT monitor because the LCD monitor will save energy more than half energy that use of standard CRT monitor computer desktop.

• Change your wireless mouse and keyboard with mouse and keyboard that use cable because using the mouse and keyboard with cable relative to spend a little more energy and save battery if compare using wireless mouse and keyboard.

• If you are not using a computer printer, then turn off the printer or you can also set the printer in sleep mode, it will save energy usage.

Using all the tips above for the laptop computer or desktop computer can reduce your energy consumption and it mean that you reduce your cost of living, and also make better your finance situation.
